The Cour Community Fund was established to support the economic, social or environmental sustainability of communities local to the wind farm (East Kintyre, West Kintyre and Tarbert & Skipness) and is administered by Foundation Scotland on behalf of the owners, Octopus Investments.   The windfarm was commissioned in 2016 and provides £102,500/year in community benefits.

For a trial period from January 2025, one third of this fund will be administered by the East Kintyre Community Fund and all applications should be made to EKCF using their forms and guidance during the published early spring/autumn funding windows. See the EKCF page here.
